The ADQ 114 data acquisition card features 14 bit resolution and an 800 MSPS data capture rate, with 64 MSample of on board memory. The card has two host interfaces, one high speed USB 2.0 port and an integrated PXI Express bus for high speed data transfer. The high input bandwidth of up to 740 MHz makes the ADQ 114 ideal for broadband applications such as the IF sampling of RF signals and high speed data recording. The card uses two Virtex5 FPGAs (SX50T and LX30T) to give a flexible solution for the implementation of customized functionality. The ADQ114 is delivered either as a single card for implementation in custom designs or as a stand alone DAQ in a robust aluminium case.

The high sampling rate is achieved using the SP Devices technology for interleaving AD converters. The technology removes distortions – such as time skew, offset errors and gain errors – that are related to interleaving. Corrections are made transparently and in real time without any need for calibration signals.
